|Can my bluebird lacecap hydrangea handle the east morning sun til 2-3pm in the afternoon.?? I just bought it and want to plant it asap!
|Hydrangeas prefer morning sun and afternoon shade or at least dappled afternoon sunlight. Afternoon sunshine (even 2-3 hours) can cause the foliage to wilt. The plants normally recover overnight and look fine the next morning. If you don't mind some droopy foliage in the summer time you can plant it in the site you describe.
