Is there anything I can put om my flowers and schrubs to kill Japanese beetles without also hurting beneficial insects such as bees and butterflies?

Thanks,

Donna

The beetles seem to be very bad this year. A neem spray may repel them. It should not affect most beneficials unless it is sprayed directly on them. You can also handpick early and late in the day when they are slower moving and drop them into soapy water. Removing them when they first appear can help prevent the early arrivals from attracting more beetles to their location.
