|I would like to know if this plant can be grown outdoors in South Carolina. I would love to hear from someone who has this plant also.|
|Arabian jasmine is hardy in USDA Zones 9 - 11. Although this is a tropical plant, Arabian jasmine can be grown outdoors in zones 8 and 9, where it will freeze to the ground in winter, but return from its roots in spring. Just be sure to mulch the plant well before the freezes get real bad. The downside is that it takes so long for the plant to regrow after freezing to the ground you don't get any flowers until late in the year - August or September, usually. You are in USDA zone 7, which is too cold to grow Arabian jasmine outdoors.|
Wish I had better news for you!
