|I recently purchased your multi-blue clematis. Could you please give me some information re pruning and a little about plant.|
|Clematis multi-blue is a relatively new introduction, with a long bloom period (June through September). It has electric blue flowers and dramatic white with burgundy stamens. It is a group two clematis, meaning it is an early, large-flowered, semi-double cultivar. It flowers on short laterals developing from the previous year?s growth, and will flower again in summer on current season?s growth.|
Prune in early spring, reducing all growth back to a spring bud. Also remove damaged or dead growth.
Enjoy your new clematis!
