|I have a rhodie that is not thriving like its neighbor. It blooms in the spring and sets its blooms on time. It has black spots on some of the green leaves. Is this a disease? What to do?|
|Black spots on rhodie leaves can indicate a fungal or bacterial disease, but there are so many, it's difficult to diagnose without seeing the plant. You might cut several of the affected leaves and seal them in a plastic bag then take them to your local Cooperative Extension office or well-staffed nursery. Helpful folks there can identify the problem and suggest solutions.
Enjoy your rhodie!
