I HAVE A 25 FT EVERGREEN THAT ALL OF A SUDDEN SEEMS TO BE TURNING BROWN AND LOOKS TO BE DYING. PLEASE ADVISE OF POSSIBLE CAUSES. THANKS JIM K

The most common causes of sudden death of an evergreen is either root rot or spider mites. I think root rot is the more likely cause. You can dig and inspect the roots; healthy roots are creamy white inside; dead or dying roots will be brown or rusty colored.
