| We have bermuda grass and have a professional company that has been treating it for 3 years. Last year I noticed a brown area it looks like it is burnt(no grub worms) this year it has taken over 3/4 of my back yard. PLEASE HELP I use to have such a nice back yard now I feel like I have none. The ground is hard and so who wants to play on it; their are only birds and rabbits no dogs in our yard. Please help Lost in Texas |
| Susan, The problem in your yard may be due to soil compaction or a fungal disease. I can't make a good educated guess without seeing photos and a sample both of which we are unable to receive in our Q&A system. I suggest that you take a sample from the turf along with a photo of the yard area (if possible) to your County Extension Office to see if they can help diagnose the problem and recommend an appropriate course of action.
