I recently purchased an orcid, and it has lost all its flowers. Now the stems are turning a different color. I'm afraid it is dying. Please help.

Without knowing what kind of orchid you have it is a bit difficult to give you advice, but on some orchids the flowering stalk normally turns brown after flowering. Trim it off about halfway, just above a node, and it may rebloom from there in a few months if it is a Phalaenopsis. Also, as orchids put on new growth the older growth will fade. And certainly the flowers do not last forever.

In general keep, the plant in a location with good air circulation, bright but indirect light, and with high humidity. Water as needed to keep the medium damp, allow the surface to dry between waterings. Depending on the size of your plant, this might be watering every few days or once a week so feel inside to see if you need to water. Good luck with your orchid!
