There are so many choices! As long as your plants have the same cultural requirements, you can plant nearly anything as a companion to your Judd Viburnum. My favorites include the deep red flowers of Therese Bugnet Japanese Rose (Rosa x `Therese Bugnet`), or the purple-red conical blooms of Royal Red Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii `RoyalRed`) are especially attractive. If you have room, the vigorous growth and purple flowers of Fiveleaf Akebia (Akebia quinata) makes a good vine companion. Let your imagination run wild and plant what is most attractive to you - after all, it is your garden. Enjoy!
