|I have a Monrovia Burgundy Lace Japanese Maple that was planted by my landscaper in June, 2006 this year. The tag on the plant shows a very burgundy tree/bush. Mine is not burgundy at all. It is very green with tinges of red. Why is it not burgundy like the picture on the tag???? It is very misleading, because I really need a burgundy color where it is planted and if it is not going to be burgundy then I will have to make another selection. Please advise. I am very disappointed. Thanks.

|This tree is reddest in the spring and again in the fall, but during the heat of summer it will gradually tinge to green before reddening again for fall. It is truly a lovely tree and the color change can be a dramatic feature in the landscape. I'm sorry if this is not what you were expecting.
