How many do I need to plant the screen? - Knowledgebase Question

I have 27 feet that I want to do a screen of Viburnum Burkwoodii ' Mohawk' or Escallonia 'Fradesii'. Could you please tell me how many I would need and if you supply those somehwere here in Portland, Oregon. Thank you.

Viburnum Burkwoodii 'Mohawk' grows 8' tall and 10' wide at maturity. You can plant these shrubs on 5' centers to create a dense hedge. (a total of 5 plants will fill your 27' long planting bed) Escallonia 'Fradesii' has a mounding growth habit reaching 5-6' tall and wide. You can plant these on 4' centers for a dense screening hedge. You'll need 7 escallonias. These are common shrubs and should be readily available in one of the following local nurseries:
