Desire to identify a tree by recognition of photo - Knowledgebase Question

While passing through residential neighborhood, I spotted a tree I would like to have one of, but I don't know it's name. It looks like a variety of blue spruce, and it has delicate, feathery, drooping branches. It has the cone shape of a Christmas tree (branches begin at ground level and the tree narrows to the top.) I would need a dwarf variety not exceeding 8-10 feet height and 6-8 feet width at maturity, but preferably even smaller. I could positively identify it if I could see a picture of it. I will be most grateful for your help!

I think you're describing a Cryptomeria. You can do a web search and probably come up with several photos on the web.

Hope this is the tree in question!
