| Golden Chain trees can be propagated from softwood cuttings and from seeds. It may be too late in the season to start a cutting, but you can certainly try rooting one in a glass of water. If it doesn't root, you can try softwood cuttings in early summer, dipping the cut end in rooting hormone and setting them in a container of moistened potting soil.
