How are your Fortnight lilys propagated ? I want to grow some more if I use seed will it come true to the parent plant. Or do I need to use root division to get a copy of the parent plant.

Propagate fortnight lilies by dividing the rhizomatous clumps after the plants have flowered. The new divisions may take several weeks to get established, so be patient and pamper them for a while. They also can be grown from seed, and under ideal growing conditions, may even seed themselves. For an exact copy of the parent plant, root division is the best course of action.
