I planted some elephant ear bulbs in the summer and want to move them. Do I need to wait until spring time to do that or can I do it
now. We have not had a freeze yet...but are close

I'd wait until the tops are killed by frost. This will signal the bulbs to go into dormancy for the winter. After the tops have died down you can cut them off, then dig the bulbs and replant them. Next spring they should sprout healthy new leaves.

Enjoy!
