I seem to have problems keeping some of my plants alive here in Florida. I get the morning and afternoon sun in my backyard and the late afternoon and evening sun in my front yard. Can you suggest a hardy plant that can thrive in the Florida heat with the hot, hot sun as well?

Success in a sunny garden usually depends upon enriched garden soil (to help hold moisture near the roots of your plants. I've had good success with Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus), Chindo Sweet Viburnum (Viburnum awabuki 'Chindo'), Butterfly Bush (Buddleja davidii), Pineapple Guava (Feijoa sellowiana), and Dwarf Bottlebrush (Callistemon citrinus 'Little John'). Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
