Will an odoratissimum viburnum survive in zone 7? I am finding conflicting info; some say it's hardy in zone 7 some say zone 8.
I want a fast growing hedge for privacy. Fragrance is a BIG bonus.
Viburnum odoratissimum is native to Asia. It is often planted in the southern United States and in other semi-tropical areas. It needs full sun to light shade and tolerates moderate shade, but may become scraggly under low light conditions.
It is only hardy in USDA Zones 8-10. It is not recommended for zone 7. Wish I had better news for you!
