I plant my Salvia in the ground. If they get a lot of sun, they droop in the sun as if they do not like it.
Also, they do not produce a lot of blooms. How can I get them to bloom more and like the hot sun?

Salvia likes full sunshine, as long as the soil is moist and well draining. If you feed your salvia it will produce lots of fast growth which makes it more likely to droop. Try pinching out the growing tips of your salvia when they are young to help them grow into sturdy, dense plants. Stop pinching in June and you should have flowers all summer.

Best wishes with your salvia!
