Vitis Californica height? - Knowledgebase Question

I am interested in planting California Grape (Vitis californica) where it will climb over an arbor over time, creating a green canopy overhead. My arbor is quite high - at least 14ft.

Will the California Grape eventually grow tall enough to cover my arbor? Or is the arbor too high to reliably expect that the grape can grow high enough to reach and then cover it?

thanks!
Margot

Vitis Californica will grow nearly 30' tall so it should cover your arbor without problem. Expect new plants to take a full year to become established before you see rampant top growth. Best wishes with your landscape!
