|I planted my one-gallon Fuchsia|
|Santa Clause is a hardy fuchsia and will endure your winter temperatures. You'll start to see leaf and stem tip damage at 32F which will progress as the temperatures dip lower. Typically, the roots will be okay and new stems will emerge from the crown of the plant when the soil and air temperatures warm to above 40F. I've grown this hardy fuchsia in my Seattle garden for years without too much winter damage. You can prune away the winter damage in March and expect your plant to grow healthy new leaves and stems later in the spring.
Best wishes with your fuchsia!
