Some of my azalea and pieris shrubs have slightly yellowed leaves. My soil tested out at 6.5.

I put compost on all my shrubs in early spring time and wanted to also add iron sulfate to those plants with yellow leaves.

When is the best time to add iron sulfate?

I also have blueberries and heath and heather. Will iron sulfate help those plants, too?

Thank you.

Spring is the best time to apply iron sulfate, with a second application 6-8 weeks later. It is safe to use on azaleas, camellias, pieris, blueberries and heather.

Best wishes with your landscape!
