We were just given Iris's. I presume they have been in a garage all winter. Is it to early for me to plant them?

If they are still dormant and your soil is workable (not frozen, not too muddy) you could plant them now so they can wake up naturally with the season -- it looks like your weather forcast is pretty mild. If you can't plant right away, keep them cool (above freezing but below 45 degrees) until you can plant. After you plant them, check and make sure they do not frost heave if you have some cold nights. (Frost can push them up out of the ground since they will not be well rooted right away.)
