When do you plant a weeping cherry tree?

You can plant your tree anytime the ground is not frozen. Most trees are planted in the spring or in the fall because that's when temperatures are mild and rainfall most abundant, both of which will help the root systems become well established before severe weather arrives. Be sure to water your new tree deeply (once each week) to promote deep roots.

Best wishes with your new tree!
