Here are several suggestions for shade loving perennials: Aegopodium p. Campanula carpatica (Carpathian Bellflower) Large blue saucer flowers, low mounds of foliage; Carex morrowi 'Augeo-Variegata' Mounds of evergreen, yellow-striped leaves; Chrysogonum virginianum (Goldenstar) Long blooming with starry yellow flowers; Convallaria majalis (Lily of the Valley) White, scented flowers, great as a carpeting groundcover; Dicentra spectabilis (Bleeding Hearts) Arches of heart-shaped flowers; Digitalis (Foxgloves) provides tall spikes of spotted flowers in the spring; Doronicum cordatum (Leopard's Bane) Clean, yellow daisy flowers;
