I have been looking for source for Confederate Rose since I heard about it. No one locally seems to know about this particular cultivar. I have been looking off and on for a year--I also asked in other states, namely S.C., N.C. & GA. Do you know whereI can find this plant?

Confederate Rose (Hibiscus mutabilis). You can order Confederate Roses from Woodlanders, Inc.
Telephone #(803)648-7522.. Woodlanders is in Aiken, SC.

We have one that a friend rooted for us. It has really gorgeous white flowers that turn pinka day later. It can easily be grown from cuttings. Local nurseries do not seem to carry this plant, which is really not a rose. It is related to the hibiscus.

In frost-free areas Confederate Rose will grow 14 to16 feet and stay green all year.

Good luck.
