My lawn has some bare spots, I have heard of lawn plugs or grass plugs. Do you know where I could find them?

Lawn plugs are usually stolons, pieces of above-ground plant material that spread readily. Check with local nurseries or look under Sod in the Yellow Pages. However, before planting, try to determine why there are bare spots. Is it shady? Turf grasses that thrive in the Southwest do not take shade, so adding new plugs won't improve the situation. Is there some other type of damage that may have occurred there, such as dogs, excessive fertilizer, and so on? If you do try to revive the grass there, you'll need to first improve the soil.
