|I have a weeping willow and a corkscrew willow that we planted several weeks ago and now we have noticed the leaves on both are turning yellow. What could be causing this and can we fix it?|
Dry soil, soggy wet (poorly drained) soil for a period of time, root injury from physical damage are all possibilities. If only older leaves further down the shoots are yellowing it is probably not a major problem and the plant should recover fine. There is little for you to do but try and keep the soil moderately moist and give them a chance to try and recover.
