Waiting for my hyacinths to come up, went out today to look at them, well needless to say, something chewed the top of them, right down to the ground, thinking maybe a squirrel, what can I put around so they don't touch the others. I planted aaround 200 bulbs last year....HELP

I am so sorry! Could have been deer or a woodchuck or a rabbit, too. You can try one of the spray on animal repellents, or you can try caging the plants, or you can try fencing out the animal (if you can determine which one it is.) The spray on repellent is the quickest, be sure to read the label and reapply as recommended. Good luck!
