I have a few Golden Euonymus and they have little brown-white dots on the leaves, what is it (possibly a fungus) and what should i use to clear them up.

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you. It the things are under the leaves and can be wiped or scratched off they are scale. A horticultural oil is needed and complete coverage of the lower leaf surface is critical. Repeat sprays twice at 3 week intervals. If the spots are in the leaf and are visible from top or bottom they could be a fungus. Check with your local Home Depot garden center for a fungicide that is labeled for use on ornamental shrubs.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
