I have a plant, I beleive it is Tropical; when I moved in it was a stump left in a bucket infested with worms/we were going to fumigate & saved it. zit gets large leaves on the top & starts to lean all the way to the floor - how can I increase trunk size? The leaves on the bottom eventually fall off & all leaves start out on top.

Unfortunately, based on your description I am not certain what kind of plant you have so it is a little bit difficult to make specific suggestions. Usually, a plant that leans or is weak stemmed needs more sunlight and possibly less nitrogen fertilizer. Some plants also require staking to remain upright. Some plants naturally lose their lower leaves as they grow taller. However, some plants will defoliate low on the plant if they are overwatered. Another cause for foliage only at the top and loss below can be lack of light. I hope this helps you troubleshoot.
