It's late April 21st, what can I plant in Appleton Wisconsin? I want flowers that will be in 8

You can begin to plant cool-season annuals now (snapdragons, pansies, etc.) Wait until June to begin planting warm-season annuals (zinnias, marigolds, etc.) As you visit your local Home Depot garden center, you'll find all kinds of candidates for your planter boxes. Enjoy!
