My Bougainvilla Hanging Basket has blooms on one side, but the other side it has just the stems (sticks) that are long. It looks like the wind blew the blooms off that were once there. Do I need to trim back the sticks or leave them alone for them to bloom again?

I would trim the stems back to encourage new growth. You don't have to remove them completely, unless they are obviously dead. Bougainvilleas are relatively tough plants so pruning won't harm them a bit.

Best wishes with your bougainvillea!
