I am new to gardening, and I am starting many different types of seeds. Should I have them in a nice shady cool area, or do they need some sun. And if they do how much? Thank you! |
Most seeds do not need light to germinate. The seeds you cover with soil will sprout in a nice shady area. The seeds you sow on the surface of the soil without covering can grow either in full sun or in a brightly lit location. Check the seed package to see which kinds of seeds you have. If you covered them lightly with soil after planting them, set them in a shady area. |
