I'm looking for two small trees to put in my garden. Which trees would be best. I'm looking for something that doesn't get bigger than 10ft.

There are some crab apples that grow to about that height, however ten feet is really more the size range for shrubs. You might consider lilac, Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus), or PeeGee Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata) for example as large shrubs that can be grown as small trees.
