|I recently purchased 4 Burning Bushes from a nursery. They were dug up the same day I re planted them. they r about 2' high. Its been three days since the transplant and the leaves are al dry and droopy. What can I do?|
|Sounds like transplant stress - typical for most any shrub or tree when they are transplanted in the spring or summer months. As soon as the roots re-establish themselves the shrubs will perk up and you'll see new growth. This can take a few weeks to a few months, depending upon the plant. Right now the best thing to do is to water deeply once each week to help the roots establish themselves. By mid-summer they should look happy and healthy in their new homes.
Best wishes with your plants!
