I received calla lily as a gift in a pot. Can I
plant it outside? If so when is the best time to transplant it? It is now the middle of may in
central Utah.

Thank you

Your calla lily won't live outdoors during the winter months, but you can certainly allow it to spend the summer outside. When the foliage dies down, lift the bulb and store it in a cool, dark place. Repot the bulb in March (or when it begins to sprout) and keep it indoors until the weather warms up again.
