Hi, last summer I bought one of those new varieties of coral bells. It is a very bright lime green. It is now on the north side of the house. I've heard that some of these new varieties are OK in bright sun. Do you know if this one would be? I'm thinking about dividing it and moving half of it to the sun. Would this be a bad decision?
Thanks, Dorian

Heuchera (coral bells) usually does best in morning sun and afternoon shade. I'd go ahead and divide the plant, then either pot it up and try it in full sun (so that you can move it if necessary). If it wilts or turns crispy you can place it in a spot that is shaded from hot afternoon sun.

Best wishes with your garden!
