I have this plant in a pot of container soil mixed with some sand, rocks and holes for drainage in bottom. If I take this plant in the house for the winter will it stay healthy with low light?

Lewisia is an alpine type of plant and needs very fast draining soil. It should bloom in the spring and then go dormant for the summer when it needs very little moisture. Then in the fall it will begin to grow again. I think it would be better to leave it outdoors for the winter in a sheltered spot where it will not get too much rain, it is very cold hardy but will not tolerate excess moisture. Since container growing is a bit different from planting in the ground, you might also want to check with the North American Rock Garden Society. Their web site includes contact information.
