|I grow, in my opinion, the prettiest
|Your methods are right, I just think you're cutting the roses at the wrong times. For longest life, you'll want to cut the roses as they just begin to open - just as the green sepals part and the rose bud is showing color. And, be sure to cut early in the morning, before the sun shines directly on the rose bushes and warms them up. After cutting, treat the roses as you've described in your email, and try to keep them in a cool place, away from air conditioner ducts or open windows.
Hope this information helps!
