|I'm looking to redo my front yard's strip going down my path to the door. It's roughly 1 foot wide in most areas until it wraps to the drive-way where it get's square. I'm looking for a recommendation on what to get. Possibly low water idea as I live in Highland.Thanks.|
|Since the area is relatively small, you'll want to think small. Salvia is always a good choice for hot, dry areas. It has a mounded shape and will help soften the line of the walk. Million Bells is a petunia like plant with tons of blooms all summer long. Dianthus is a natural for the area, or, thrift is an attractive plant with grasslike foliage and tall flowering stems sporting a pink puff. You might even consider planting dwarf daylilies in the strip. These are evergreen and bloom from spring to fall in all kinds of colors.|
Hope these suggestions are helpful!
