Aside from fertilizer burn, lack of water or major transplant stress, there's no real reason for your snowball bush to drop its leaves. If you've just recently transplanted your snowball bush, water it regularly (one-inch per week) and once the roots become established, it should leaf out for you. If you forgot to water, or if you overfertilized, the shrub may not recover. Let's hope for the best!
