| The answer to this is a yes-no possibility. The root piece could send up growth and eventually recover into a rose plant once again, although this can take a year or two if it was severely damaged. However, if the rose was grafted, the new plant will be the rootstock rather than the original (desired) grafted variety. If your plant was grown on its own roots, you would still have the original rose. |
