i have noticed leaves browning and brown egg shaped clusters on 2 leaves.

how do i rid specimen?

why are the leaves browning?

i water weekly and it is placed in medium light.

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

If the plant is not lacking soil moisture the main causes of browning fronds would be either an excessive fertilizer application or soggy wet (poorly drained) soil conditions. Time will tell if the plant can pull out of it and there is little for you to do but provide proper care. You may be seeing a scale on the fronds which can also cause browning. Take a sample to your County Extension Office for help diagnosing the problem and for control recommendations. Their contact info is:
