The Fuchsia Plant in the hanging basket is wilted very badly. I have kept it in the shade and watered it daily. This morning it looks wilted but the soil is very damp. What is the problem?

It's hard to tell without seeing the plant, but the leaves and stems could be wilting because of dessicating winds, or showing stress from overwatering. It's true that fuchsia's like lots of water but it's also important to allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. If you keep the soil too moist all of the oxygen will be driven out and roots need oxygen, as well as moisture. Hold off on watering until the very top of the potting soil looks dry. At that time water thoroughly.

Best wishes with your fuchsia!
