We bought some Irish Moss to go around some of the pond. My questions is on the tag that came with it shows a circle with two arrows. One arrow was pointing toward the top of the circle and the other arrow was pointing to the right of the circle. What does this mean? Also, where the arrows met was not in the middle of the circle, more toward the left of the circle. Does anyone carry a book of all the gardening symbols?

Wish I could shed some light on the meaning of the plant tag but what you've picked up is a grower's tag and it would mean different things to different growers. Plants at the grower's are identified by a type of shorthand (sometimes known only to the growers!) that indicates when and what type fertilizer and growth hormone/inhibitor is used, plus sunny or shady conditions, etc. There is no universal usage so there is no specific sheet of information I can steer you towards.

Best wishes with your garden!
