I have a trellis in the shade. I would like to plant a flowering climber, if there is one that likes the shade. Otherwise, could you recommend any climbers that like the shade-flowering or not???

Unfortunately, the flowering climbers tend to prefer sun. You could try the sweet autumn clematis (Clematis paniculata now sometimes listed as C. terniflora) or the climbing hydrangea (Hydrangea petiolaris) if there is some direct sun reaching the spot where it would be planted. Otherwise, perhaps Parthenocissus.
