How do these shrubs do in the Arizona heat?

Although not terribly common here, I have seen them thriving in some landscapes. They like heat, but if you can locate it in an eastern exposure that receives morning sun and shade in the hot afternoons that will be less stressful. Be sure to water deeply through the entire root zone. You might also want to erect a temporary shade structure while it establishes, as summer is a difficult time for transplants. Good luck!
