|how to plant these trees and shrubs and water them kind of soil, shade sun?|
|Weeping cherry trees should be planted in average but well draining soils in full sunshine. If they are planted where they receive shade they will be susceptible to disease. Watering deeply once each week should be sufficient. I usually make a watering well or basin beneath my newly planted trees and shrubs then water by filling the basin, allowing it to drain, then filling it a second time. This concentrates the water directly over the root mass and allows it to trickle down, wetting all the roots. Once a week should be fine; twice if the weather is really hot.
Best wishes with your weeping cherry!
