I bought a parlor palm. Its leaves are turning yellow. It starts at the bottom of the plant and works its way upward. What could be the cause? I keep it indoors.

If your plant is showing new growth, then I think what you are seeing is probably normal. As the plant grows new fronds, some of the older (lowest) ones will gradually deteriorate and can be trimmed off. Here is some general care information you may find helpful as well. http://hgic.clemson.edu/factsh... You may need to cut and paste the complete url to make it work correctly. I hope this helps you troubleshoot.
