Chehalis, WA (Zone 7B)
|I have a fast spreading flower that has fuzzy, silver leaves like a lamb's ear and hot pink flowers. Can you give me a name? I was told it started with a Z.

|I think your plant is Rose Campion (Lychnis coronaria). These plants multiply and spread beyond their original bounds. Even where they are not perennials, they will re-seed readily. Rose campion flowers can be grown in zones 4-8. They reach a height of 2'-3'. Rose campion flowers bloom on a fuzzy, silvery stalk that is appealing in its own right.
